Premier League MatchDay 30 Tips

March 11, 2013 Posted in Uncategorized by No Comments

Every team is back in action this weekend in the Premier League after a shortened week this past weekend due to the FA Cup. I have gone through the matches and have come up with my best bets across all of the round 30 Premier League matches.

Premier League Saturday March 16th 2014 Tips

Everton hosts Manchester City at Goodison Park on Saturday. I’m betting the draw at 3.40 because I don’t think Man City’s form has been good enough to take the full 3-pts away from home. Everton is 7-6-1 at Goodison while City is 7-5-2 in away matches.

This should be a low scoring match. Man City only scores an average of 1.43 GPG and concedes 0.93 GPG in away matches. City is locked into 2nd place on the league table, but this is a huge match for Everton who is in 7th place and just 2 pts behind Arsenal.

Man City and Everton played to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad with Fellaini and Tevez netting the goals. I expect a similar score and if you’re looking at the goalscorer markets Fellaini is a good bet, as he leads Everton with 11 goals including 6 at Goodison Park.

  • Aston Villa v QPR – Exactly 2-3 Goals 2.00 (Paddy Power)

Two teams that struggle to score meet at Villa Park this Saturday. Villa is only scoring an average of 0.79 GPG at home while QPR is only averaging to score 0.93 GPG in away matches. However, both teams struggle defensively and concede a lot of goals.

QPR concedes 1.64 GPG in away matches while Aston Villa concedes 1.43 GPG at Villa Park. These two teams played earlier in the season and the final score was a 1-1 draw. At even money I think this is a great bet that has a good chance of winning.

Premier League Sunday March 17th 2014 Tips

  • Wigan v Newcastle – Over 2.5 Goals 1.75 (Bet365)

I’m surprised that we’re getting 1.75 odds in the O2.5 goals market in this match. Both of these teams have weak backlines and it wouldn’t surprise me if this match had 3+ goals in the 1st half. Wigan concedes 2.21 GPG and scores 1.21 GPG at the DW Stadium.

Newcastle is one of the worst defensive teams in away matches, as they concede 2.07 GPG while scoring 1.21 GPG. I don’t think that scoring will be a problem for Newcastle against Wigan and Wigan should also be able to score 1-2 goals.

2014 Premier League Round 30 Accumulator

  • Wigan v Newcastle Both to Score
  • Man Utd v Reading Both to Score
  • Tottenham v Fulham Both to Score

This week I’m betting that both teams will score in the three matches above. This accumulator pays roughly 5/1 at Paddies and I think it’s a great bet. All of these matches are expected to be high scoring and at 5/1 this bet is worth a ½ unit wager.

You can bet on this weekend’s matches at Bet365 and Paddy Power. With every team in action there is plenty of action to bet on and Paddies will be running multiple moneyback specials that usually present good value.
