Bet24 Mobile iPhone Poker App Expanded to 14 New Countries

Bet24 iPhone Poker now available in 14 New Countries

Ongame network powered Bet24 has expanded their iPhone Poker App to 14 new countries in February. After successfully launching the app on December 2011 in United Kingdom, France and Austria, they are now releasing it elsewhere in Europe.

This launch comes right after Pokerstars released their iPhone Poker App on iTunes in Italy/UK. Apple was strict on gambling policy before, but now it seems that iTunes is opening up for gambling apps and we will most likely see more of these released in the near future.

Lars Kollind, Bet24 poker manager had this to say about the launch:

Mobile has been a true success story for us with thousands of downloads since launch

I have studied the development carefully since launch and I am proud to say that mobile poker generates growth without cannibalizing on current poker revenues from PC and Mac, we are really glad that the customers like our product and use it on a daily basis.

Players in Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Netherlands, Lithuania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark and Switzerland, France, Austria and UK can download the app here. Bet24 is planning on expanding the app availability to other countries in the near future and we will post an update on this as soon as we hear something.

Bet24 iPhone Poker App is Compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS 3.1 or later.

There is an Android version of the poker app available too, but the main mobile platform for Bet24 is still going to be iOS. The company research has found out that the money spent on mobile devices is heavily tilted towards iPhone users. “IOS are, financially speaking, still a more important platform than Android among Ongame’s operators”, Bet24 stated in a press release.
