Full Tilt Poker has again gone mobile with their fast-folding Rush Poker game. Originally they introduced Rush Poker mobile before black Friday back in 2010 for Android and iOS users. This time around they say that the HTML5-based web app is only a temporary beta solution before they are ready with native poker apps.

This temporary solution is only meant for iPhone/iPad users and unfortunately it doesn’t work on Android devices. Android platform is going to be supported again when FTP is going to officially launch on mobile, but they are still a good number of months off.

Full Tilt soft-relaunched the app very quietly last week and publicly it wasn’t announced until this week by Shyam Markus, FTP Poker Room Manager on a 2+2 forum post.

” In fact, I don’t expect the HTML5 app to ever come out of beta. We dusted it off so players could at least play something on their iOS mobile devices while we worked on the real mobile apps. You should give it a try if you get an itch for Rush while out and about. ” says Markus.

Being under the roof of PokerStars, an online poker giant, will certainly help Full Tilt Poker to develop their mobile apps further. PokerStars success in mobile gaming came to a conclusion last month when they scooped an award for Best Mobile Poker Operator at the mGaming Awards ceremony held in London UK.

With PokerStars’s experience and knowledge in mobile poker it’s just a matter of time before Full Tilt Poker will launch with a more advanced and polished multi-platform mobile apps and we can’t hardly wait!
