AboutSwitch Poker
Switch Poker launched in October 2010 and it was the first real money site where Apple users could play mobile poker. Since then they have also release an Android Poker client which was the first Android Poker App to support multi-tabling. iPhone, iPad or Ipod Touch users can play here straight through from their mobile device browser and no flash is needed, since it’s built on Javascript.
One very unique feature is the ability to make payments in Bitcoins. Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer virtual currency that doesn’t need any intermediate party such as banks for the transfers. Besides Bitcoins deposits and withdraws can be made using Skrill, Neteller or Moneta. Switch Poker is licenced and located in Costa Rica.

Software
Switch Poker software is very basic and the graphics aren’t that eye caching. The best part of this software is that it was built from the scratch to support mobile gaming. All data is compressed up to 93%, and only minimal data is being transmitted between your mobile device and the servers. This is good news if you are playing using an 3G/4G connection without a fixed data package and have to pay for every megabyte transferred.
Switch poker is playable on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with a browser instant play web app that is accessible within the Switch Poker homepage. The web app was designed and optimized for Apple Devices and when it was initially launched it was the first real money poker available for iPhone.
For Android users Switch Poker offer a downloadable Android Poker App. This is the first real money Android Poker app released that has multi-tabling and it’s playable on 99% of all Android Devices. No flash is required and the app should work on every Android device with an OS version 1.6 or later. Switching between tables on Smartphone is done using the swipe gesture and when playing from a Tablet you can have up to 4 tables on the screen simultaneously. Everything from playing to registering, and depositing is done withing the Android Poker App.

Low traffic here, usually only a few dozen players online as they aren’t part of any larger poker network.
Competition
Competition here makes up for the low traffic. The site doesn’t support any tracker software, so these tables won’t be filled with pro grinders. Instead you will find many recreational players here, and the competition is very soft!
