How to play

Roulette is a pretty simple game to learn. There aren’t any ‘magic formulas’ or strategies to use except for going with your gut and crossing your fingers. The game has two main components, they are the:

1. Wheel
2. Table

The wheel is controlled by the croupier while the table is where you place your bets. You can place as many bets as you wish but bear in mind some online tables have minimum and maximum betting limits per spin.

The picture above shows the roulette wheel and table for European and French roulette.

Roulette works by spreading your bets across the table and hitting the spin button when you are ready. The croupier will then spin the ball and when it stops it will land on a specific number which is attached to a colour.

All winnings bets will be paid and you will be given the option to repeat your spin using the same bet as last time or to place a new set of bets. This is pretty much how all forms of online roulette are played. Unless you are playing live dealer roulette you can take as much time as you want placing your bets.

How to place bets

Roulette has several betting options which are broken into two main categories – inside bets and outside bets. Inside bets are placed on the inside of the table and provide longer odds. Outside bets are place around the outside of the table and provide shorter odds.
