One of the directions of the Moscow School Olympiad is law. Event organizers:

Moscow Department of Education;State autonomous educational institution of higher education of the city of Moscow “Moscow City Pedagogical University”;Center for Pedagogical Excellence.

The Moscow Olympiad in the “Law” profile has the third level in the RSOSh list. The diploma of the winner and prize-winner significantly increases the chances of admission to the desired university, but the type of advantage is determined by the universities independently – accurate information for the current academic year is published on the official websites of educational institutions. Typically, students can receive additional points or exemption from entrance examinations. However, not everyone will be able to take advantage of the right to receive benefits: it is necessary to pass the USE in the core subject of the Olympiad (social studies) with at least 75 points, otherwise the university will not count even the 1st degree diploma, and the applicant will participate in the general competition.

The Olympiad is held for two age groups: students in grades 8-9 and 10-11 perform different 123helpme.me tasks. Scientific centers, private and state educational institutions take part in the organization of the competition. On the basis of these regional sites, the final stage of the competition in law is held.

The competition is held in a part-time format in several stages. Participation in the first distance round is open, any schoolchild in Russia can try his hand at it. Registration starts in December. The qualifying round task consists of two parts. First, students are asked to answer two types of questions: open and test. Time to complete is limited – 75 minutes. The second part must be sent no later than 24 hours after the start of work.

The selection period is from January to February. Technical points are posted in the personal accounts of the participants, and the final results are published on the official portal of the Olympiad. An appeal in absentia is provided.

The face-to-face stage takes place in March. The final round schedule and information about regional venues appear on the website no later than a week before the start of the test. The duration of the final is 3 hours. Pre-registration is required with the choice of the place of the stage. According to the results of the competition, the results and lists of winners and prize-winners are published on the competition portal.
