Introduction

The AnyOption binary options trading platform is owned and operated by AnyOption Payment Services Ltd. AnyOption started business in 2008, the same year that the binary options market was deregulated for retail participation. The brand operates out of Limassol, Cyprus. The platform is not proprietary: AnyOption uses the white-label trading platforms offered by Tradologic Ltd.

anyoptionPayouts

There are various payout formats for the different trade types. The classical digital option trade contracts (Call/Put) Promise traders a payout that ranges from 65% to 71%. Traders have the ability to use the loss protection feature, with the payout reducing or increasing according to how much loss protection is used. The maximum allowable loss protection is 15%, so a trader who uses maximum loss protection will have a payout of 50%, while traders who do not use loss protection at all will get the maximum payout for winning trades. Anything in between can be adjusted and calculated accordingly.

For the High Yield Touch trade, the payouts are as high as 380%. The minimum payout for this trade type is 150%. Again, the exact payout will depend on loss percentage used and the asset that is traded.

Trading Tools

The following special trading tools are available on AnyOption:

a)    The Take Profit function. AnyOption pioneered the use of this tool, which permits early closure of trades before expiry to lock in profits. The function becomes active 15 minutes to trade maturity, and is available for 5 minutes. Within this time, the trader can use this tool to take profits. There is a cost to using this feature, as the trader gets a reduced payout on the trade.

b)    Expiry times can be postponed using the Roll Forward feature. This is used when trades are obviously going to end out of the money. By postponing the expiry, the trader gives the asset time to recover and get back into a winning position. This feature becomes active 15 minutes to expiry and is available for 5 minutes, after which the trader cannot use the feature. Using this feature also comes at a cost which is charged to the payout.

c)     Free SMS alerts for traders investing more USD100 or its equivalent in Euros and Pounds. This feature is available to certain countries only.
