Introduction

Operated by the iOption Group, the iOption binary options brand is a white-label partnership with SpotOption Ltd, serving its clients with the binary options platform and trade types created by SpotOption.

Payouts

The payout structure on iOption depends on the trade type and the duration of the trade.

a)    The Up/Down digital option and the 60 seconds option attracts a payout of between 65% and 85%. Where the trader decides to exercises the loss return function, the percentage of loss return will reduce the payout of a successful trade in that measure.

b)    The High Yield Touch option lives up to its billing of having a high yield payout of up to 500% for winning trades. 

Bonuses and Promotions

iOption gives out a number of bonuses and promotions to both new and existing clients. Some of these bonuses/promotions are as follows:

a)    For new traders, there is a welcome bonus which gives traders an added percentage of the account opening balance. Trader and VIP class accounts receive an additional 10% bonus. These bonuses are not available for those with the Starter account.

b)    In conjunction with Intellitraders, traders who open an account with iOption get a $100 no-deposit bonus. To qualify for this bonus, the trader must open the account using the Intellitraders affiliate link.

c)     High volume traders get among other things, a branded iOption Debit Card which allows the trader to withdraw directly from the iOption account and straight into the debit card, which can then be used on an ATM to draw money. This iOption branded debit card is also available for VIP account holders, as well as 30 days access to SMS alerts and unlimited one-on-one training sessions.

The following expiry times are available for the different trade types:

–       Call/Put option: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours.

–       The 60 seconds option lasts 60 seconds.

–       Expiry time for the High Yield Touch is one week.

–       The OptionBuilder trade: set by the trader according to a daily clock.

Trading Tools

There is a knowledge library for traders to read materials that will get them familiarized with the binary options market, as well as a video tour that puts in pictures what is contained in the knowledge library.

Deposits and Withdrawals

After opening a trading account by filling an online form and activating same by submitting copies of government issued IDs and proof of residence (Utility bill/bank statement), traders can fund their accounts using the following methods:

1)    E-wallets: The common ones used are Moneybookers and CashU. The great thing about Moneybookers is that this payment channel also serves as a payment processor for other country-specific payment methods. All a trader needs to have in order to deposit with the e-wallet option is $200. Traders cannot deposit more than $1000 with this method.

2)    With a minimum of $200 and a maximum of $5,000, traders can deposit into their iOption accounts using credit cards. Cards accepted are MasterCard, VISA, Diner’s Club, Carte Bleue, JCB and CartaSi. All cards used must first be verified by submitting a scanned copy of the front and back of the cards with some of the card numbers blocked out to prove the ownership of the card.

3)    With as little $250, traders can use wire transfers. There is no maximum to what can be deposited into the account. Transactions done with wire transfers attract a charge of $25.

Minimum investment amount on iOption is $10. Accounts can be held in US dollars, British Pounds and Euros.
